King Youngblood
Pool 1 - August 3 and Finals August 5 - WINNER 1st Place

King Youngblood is focused on reclaiming rock music, specifically black fronted rock packed with strong song writing, Afropunk attitude and an undeniable exhilarating live show. Alternative Press calls King Youngblood “Seattle’s Alt Rock Princes” - they sure got that right. Twenty-three-year-old founder and front man Cameron Lavi-Jones, along with, drummer Alix Daniel, cellist Chet Peterson, and bassist Samy Garcia have a singular mission: grab heavy guitar/drums rock by the collar and drag it into the willing arms of the fresh new generation of fans currently fueling the world-wide resurgence of rock music. The world agrees with affirming descriptions including AfroPunk Magazine in October 2022 declaring “King Youngblood’s skill at transforming a small phrase into a massive hook is at this point unparalleled in the world of heavy music.”

Ruby Vision
Pool 2 - August 4, Finals August 5 and 2ed Place overall

You know the feeling of a first kiss, the cold side of a pillow, or walking into a public restroom and finding it empty? Ruby Vision is like none of those things. They were founded in the sky, each on his own quest to slay the same dragon. When the deed was done, they pulled from his chest a peculiar red stone that pulsed with energy. They had no idea that this was the legendary Ruby Vision—a rock of unparalleled power.

They became a band that puts grunge and modern rock in a blender, creating a delicious sonic smoothie garnished with too many guitar solos. It’s like being slapped in the face by a Bible-thick wad of toilet paper soaked in the sweat of all your rock heroes. Ruby Vision will make you laugh, cry, and experience true love for the first time. Sometimes the most incredible adventures begin with a chance encounter and a little bit of Rock 'n' Roll.

A pop-punk influenced band writing songs about the ups and downs of life. Doing our best to blend fun melodies, high energies, and a few feelings here and there!.

The Band Lele
Pool 1 - August 3

The Band LeLe is an Indie Folk band formed in Edmonds, WA by three local musicians who were looking for a creative outlet.
What began as a fun cover band grew into something more as they began writing their own music. Songwriting not only gave them something special to offer listeners, but it proved to be incredibly cathartic.

Tuesday Refuge
Pool 1 - August 3 and Thursday's Wildcard

Tuesday’s Refuge is a 4-piece alternative rock band hailing from Bellingham, WA. The group got their start in early 2021 when, with the pandemic waning, four friends began meeting up to jam and share their original songs with each other (on Tuesdays, of course). With a dynamic lineup (Alex Sapadin, Jason Chang, and Kellen O’Neill all rotate through vocals, lead guitar, and bass, while Adam Good keeps everyone grounded on drums) and shared songwriting duties, every song brings a unique blend of styles and creative influences (which range from Lou Reed to My Chemical Romance, to Neil Young to Sublime).

Hannah Duckworth

Hannah Duckworth is the name of lead singer as well as band, including Hannah, Dillon, Legend and Gavin. Hannah started performing solo at open mics in Seattle in July 2022. She garnered the attention of the local open mic scene with her stand-out music influenced heavily by 2000's pop-punk nostalgia. Dillon started to write guitar riffs to Hannah's song, and the two started performing as a duo. The duo met Legend, who plays bass, at another open mic. Hannah and Dillon enlisted the help of Legend and Gavin (drums) to bring their vision of full band music to life, and the 4 have been performing together since January 2023. Hannah Duckworth creates alt-rock and pop punk music heavily influenced by the early 2000's.

Pilot Seat
Pool 2 - August 4 and Friday's Wild Card moving on to Finals August 5

Pilot Seat is a group of three friends with a shared passion fusing together indie/alternative pop and psychedelic rock to create a bright, clean, melodic yet raw sound. Pilot Seat has been playing together since 2021 with the goal of releasing an album, having people dig their material and growing a larger audience, and have been accumulating a strong fanbase playing shows throughout the greater Seattle area.

H!t It
Pool 2 - August 4

H!t It is a hot new Rock and Soul group out of Seattle, packing a one-two-punch of punk drive and riveting highs. In the year since their formation, these generational cuspers developed their style by combining powerful melodies and fluid rhythms with a high-octane pulse that never fails to get a room grooving! H!t It has taken their sound to venues all around Seattle this last year, and have recently finished recording their debut EP at none other than our own Robert Lang Studios which will be releasing this summer.

Batbox
Pool 2 - August 4 and Finals August 5

Many phrases have been used to describe Batbox over the years: “your mom’s favorite band”, “probably the best three-piece alt-rock/punk/indie/jazz fusion featuring trumpet, violin, euphonium, and ukulele this side of The International Date Line”, and [THIRD THING HERE]. But from all of these, one thing is clear: they probably are a band. From their founding in 2017, to their first studio album in 2021, into the modern days of bumping festivals and local venues throughout the PNW, Batbox has been spitting mad rhymes about topics including politics, relationships, and post-post-post-modern queerness in The West.
